Verticality lies at the heart of Fred Deb’s artistic research. It is the founding axis — physical, symbolic and sensory all at once. It engages the body in a direct relationship with space, emptiness and the invisible forces running through it, in constant dialogue with gravity, between grounding and elevation.
Within this axis between sky and earth, movement becomes essential, inhabited, pared down. Every gesture is a passage. Every suspension, an act of listening.
Between strength and letting go, the body searches. Between inside and outside, it traces a path.
